Taste of Fennimore

7th Annual Taste of Fennimore
Saturday, March 7, 2020

Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce logo

The Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the seventh annual “Taste of Fennimore” event:

Saturday, March 7, 2020
from 1 to 5 p.m.
at The Cottonwood Sports Bar and Supper Club

  • Regional Beer and Wine Tasting
  • Local Meat and Cheese Samples
  • Variety of Vendors
  • Live Music

The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and increase awareness about the diverse products available in our area.

The 7th Annual Taste of Fennimore brought together 26 area businesses to showcase a wide variety of food and beverages. More than 400 ticket holders receive a ballot to choose which business was their favorites.  This year’s votes came in very close in several of the categories.

Many people commented on how hard it was to only vote for three businesses as all of the sampling for the event were delicious. The Taste of Fennimore is the chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds are used by the chamber for a wide variety of promotional activities in print, radio, social media and website promotion.

This year members of the 2020 Taste committee pledged the first $500 profit toward the new digital community sign project.   The Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce has a matching grant challenge out to the community to match up to $7500 of community giving.  Currently the sign challenge has received $5,766 from community giving.  That leaves just $1,844 left to reach the challenge goal.

All funds for the digital sign challenge is being run through Fennimore Area Foundation and are tax deductible.   For additional information check online www.fennimore.com or contact the Promotions Coordinator Linda Parrish 608-822-3599 or promo@fennimore.com
