DESCRIPTION:The Patriots Tour is anticipated to arrive in Fennimore sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 am on Thursday\, September 8. Upon arriving in Fennimore\, the Patriots Tour will parade down Lincoln Avenue to the Veteran’s Memorial at Memorial Park. A special ceremony will be held at which time the official handoff of the flag will pass from the first day flag bearer to the second day flag bearer. On Friday\, September 9\, a small ceremony will be held at the Fennimore Veterans Memorial prior to the kick off for the second day ride at approximately 1:30 pm. \n\n\n\nThe Patriot Tour™ is passing one American Flag through 50 states\, 15\,000 miles\, over 115 days. The Patriot Tour™ was created to honor ALL military: enlisted\, veterans\, military families and the fallen\, while calling attention to and raising financial support for disabled veterans and their families. The Nation of Patriots is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises financial support for physically and mentally injured veterans and their families. 100% of all donations go directly to supporting military families.
