DESCRIPTION:The Patriots Tour is anticipated to arrive in Fennimore sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 am on Thursday\, September 8. Upon arriving in Fennimore\, the Patriots Tour will parade down Lincoln Avenue to the Veteran’s Memorial at Memorial Park. A special ceremony will be held at which time the official handoff of the flag will pass from the first day flag bearer to the second day flag bearer. On Friday\, September 9\, a small ceremony will be held at the Fennimore Veterans Memorial prior to the kick off for the second day ride at approximately 1:30 pm. \n\n\n\nThe Patriot Tour™ is passing one American Flag through 50 states\, 15\,000 miles\, over 115 days. The Patriot Tour™ was created to honor ALL military: enlisted\, veterans\, military families and the fallen\, while calling attention to and raising financial support for disabled veterans and their families. The Nation of Patriots is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises financial support for physically and mentally injured veterans and their families. 100% of all donations go directly to supporting military families. DESCRIPTION:The Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Southwest Wisconsin Technical College to host Charger Fest and we invite all local businesses to participate in this unique opportunity to market your products and services to Southwest Tech students.   \n\n\n\nCharger Fest is an exceptional occasion for our new students to learn all that Fennimore and Southwest Wisconsin Technical College has to offer that will take place on Wednesday\, August 24th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event will be held outside (weather permitting).  \n\n\n\nCharger Fest will be a lively event with free food\, music\, activities and demonstrations that highlight student clubs and campus involvement opportunities. In an effort to raise students’ awareness of Fennimore resources and to continue to foster a more intentional relationship between Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and the community\, we would love to have area businesses take part in Charger Fest.  This event takes place during the meeting hour so students do not have class and will be strongly encouraged to attend and faculty and staff will be in attendance as well. This promises to be a great marketing opportunity for your company/organization to advertise your services within the Fennimore area. We encourage you to provide examples/demonstrations of your services\, product samples\, games or prize giveaways at your table.
