DESCRIPTION:The Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Southwest Wisconsin Technical College to host Charger Fest and we invite all local businesses to participate in this unique opportunity to market your products and services to Southwest Tech students.   \n\n\n\nCharger Fest is an exceptional occasion for our new students to learn all that Fennimore and Southwest Wisconsin Technical College has to offer that will take place on Wednesday\, August 24th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event will be held outside (weather permitting).  \n\n\n\nCharger Fest will be a lively event with free food\, music\, activities and demonstrations that highlight student clubs and campus involvement opportunities. In an effort to raise students’ awareness of Fennimore resources and to continue to foster a more intentional relationship between Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and the community\, we would love to have area businesses take part in Charger Fest.  This event takes place during the meeting hour so students do not have class and will be strongly encouraged to attend and faculty and staff will be in attendance as well. This promises to be a great marketing opportunity for your company/organization to advertise your services within the Fennimore area. We encourage you to provide examples/demonstrations of your services\, product samples\, games or prize giveaways at your table. Enjoy a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus\, hot chocolate\, music and caroling\, a reading of the Night Before Christmas by the fireplace\, and more! Children can visit the library through November 22 to decorate an ornament that they can place on the Unity Tree during the lighting ceremony. Those decorating an ornament will receive a Scholastic book from the Friends of the Fennimore Library in appreciation of their efforts. \n\n\n\nLights in the Park \n\n\n\nVisit Oakwood Park for the lighting of our new Lights in the Park holiday light display\, along with campfire s’mores. Businesses\, organizations\, families\, and individuals can sponsor a display and decorate it however you choose! There are options to sponsor a tree real Christmas tree that will be provided from Cook’s Woods or an object that already exists at Oakwood Park\, including either pavilion\, playground\, fence sections\, and existing trees. We’ll light the park for the first time during our Holiday Fen-stival on and the light display will remain open to the public through Saturday\, January 1\, 2022. \n\n\n\nClubs and organizations are encouraged to host fundraisers at the pavilions during Lights in the Park.
