A dear friend told me that “if you do what you love, it’s not work.” Well, at times I wasn’t sure if that could be possible with the different directions my life took me. I’ve always been a “foodie,” now I get to share my travels and tastes at The Lemon Door. My mother’s amazing old school homemade “never let anything go to waste” recipes in her head, to working with some amazing chefs and friends. The menu is set up for you to create your favorite or ask a staff to hook you up with one of theirs!

The Lemon Door was a name I’ve had in the back of my mind for years. Not knowing how it was going to reveal itself to me, I found myself in Fennimore, WI. A space filled with used, repurposed, and upcycled items, because everything in our world is worth a “second chance”.

Our Menu is small, but fresh and unlike anyone in the area. We source as much as possible from our area to reduce the carbon footprint of our items. Highest quality meat and cheeses sliced fresh daily. A variety of house made mayonnaise and salad dressings made fresh and flavorful for your choices on our check off menu. “Quick pickling” of cucumbers and mixed veggies (banh mi mix) for that amazing crunch and zing for your over the top sandwiches!

Summers are filled with all sorts of fresh produce that end up in cold soups, YES, I SAID COLD! Red or Green gazpacho, avocado, and even strawberry! Winter is filled with soups made from scratch and plenty of other warm and satisfying comforts for the soul.

NO ICEBERG in our salads. We want you to enjoy the flavor of great greens and house made toppings.
