The City of Fennimore now outsources its garbage and recycling to Republic Services. Republic Services collects garbage in the City weekly, and recycling materials bi-weekly. The City of Fennimore is proud to work with Republic Services to be able to offer these services to our citizens.
Garbage & Recycling Guidelines
Please see the links below for helpful guidelines on unacceptable refuse, acceptable/unacceptable recyclables, and tips for placement of toters. Please ensure that you place your toters outside by 6 a.m. for pickup.

City of Fennimore Clean-Up
The City of Fennimore will be holding a Clean-up on June 23rd, 2026 through June 25th, 2026 with dumpsters located at the Street Shop at 975 7th St Fennimore, WI. There will be no return trips. This event is for City of Fennimore residents/taxpayers only. Republic Services will be starting at 6:00 am. Items NOT ACCEPTED: No tires, No batteries, No liquids or chemicals, No construction or remodeling debris, No yard waste, No ashes, No hazardous waste, No household appliances, No microwaves, No TVs, No computers or electronic parts.

Compost Site
The Compost Site located at County Highway Q and Bronson Blvd intersection will be open if you have compost that needs to be dropped off.
