Summary: The Community Development Manager supports the City of Fennimore (City), the Fennimore Industrial and Economic Development Corporation, and the Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) offices.

Fennimore, Wisconsin (population 2500) is strategically located at the crossroads of busy highways 18 and 61 in the heart of SW Wisconsin. This provides direct and convenient access to prime markets and suppliers.

Fennimore has an excellent public school system and is also the home of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. Southwest Tech offers nearly 50 programs at the College adjacent to the Fennimore Industrial Park. Furthermore the college will work with businesses to customize training to meet specific business needs.
Southwest Wisconsin Technical College (Southwest Tech) creates a significant positive impact on the business community and generates a return on investment to its major stakeholder groups-students, taxpayers, and society. Using two pronged approach that involves an economic impact analaysis and an investement analysis, this study calculates the benefits received by each of these groups. Results of the analysis reflect fiscal year (FY) 2017-18.
