The mission of the Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce is to support businesses while marketing and growing the community as a great place to live, work and play. Our vision is to be a fan of Fennimore by partnering with the city, businesses, and organizations to provide a positive environment while inspiring growth.

The continuing mission of Fennimore Area Health Services, Ltd., “to eliminate sickness and disease, educate the community and improve the health and well-being of the community,” is carried out in a wide variety of actions and deeds including donations, scholarships, equipment and device purchases, pharmacy rental property, as well as providing public service information.

The FAHS mission started in 1983. The impetus behind its creation was to build a medical/dental clinic and recruit a physician and dentist to the community. A community-wide fund drive was held and in less than two months through private donations from individuals and businesses, enough money was raised. The Plattner Clinic was the result. Today, medical and dental practices still provide services at the clinic.

The Fennimore Maroon and Gold – is a group of volunteers passionate about raising funds to help purchase sporting goods for Fennimore sports that are not covered thru the athletic budget.

They welcome new volunteers to join their group and also thank others who participate in their fundraisers to continue to make them successful.
